What is the difference between Dysport® & Xeomin®?
Dysport® (by Galderma) is a botulinum toxin with over 30 years of international use, offering onset in 2–5 days, lasting 3–6 months, and diffusing more broadly to suit larger treatment areas (e.g. forehead, underams).Xeomin® (by Merz Aesthetics) is a “pure” botulinum toxin, on the market for over 10 years, with onset in 3–7 days, lasting 3–4 months, and offering a more precise, localised effect ideal for smaller or delicate areas.
How does it work?
Dysport®/ Xeomin® works by blocking the signals between nerves and muscles reducing movement. This temporary relaxes and smooths wrinkles.
