I am a Nurse Practitioner (NP)* with over 10 years of experience working in health care, primarily within primary care and I currently work as an NP in Whangārei. My role involves managing health care needs across the lifespan, and I am deeply passionate about delivering safe, evidence-based care that supports long-term wellbeing.

In addition to my work in primary care, I have a strong interest in cosmetic medicine and skin therapies that promote healthy skin. It has long been my dream to open a clinic that combines my expertise in health care with my passion for skin health, offering services that complement my work in primary health care.

On a personal note, my partner and I have recently settled in the Waipū area. As someone born and raised in Te Tai Tokerau (Northland), I have always considered the region my home, and I am proud to contribute to the local community.

*A Nurse Practitioner (NP) is the most senior clinical nursing role in New Zealand. NPs are expert registered nurses who have completed advanced clinical training, hold a Master’s degree (or higher), and are endorsed by the Nursing Council of New Zealand (NCNZ) to practice independently.

They are authorised by legislation to assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients’ health care needs across the lifespan. NPs combine advanced nursing knowledge with clinical decision-making and prescribing authority.

NPs are authorised prescribers under the Medicines Act 1981, with the ability to prescribe medicines.
